"I met Sydney from this agency a little over a year ago. I had been with a different insurance company for several years and their premiums kept going up and up - while at the same time it was getting more and more difficult to reach anyone when I had a question or wanted to make a change.

My wife and I decided to look around and see what else was available. We wanted a good Company, competitive premiums were important, but also very important was the ability to reach someone if we ever had a questionnaire needed to make a change.

Just a few minutes after I met Sydney on the phone, she sent me a quote for better coverage (Lower deductible, higher Dollar coverage, and a good company (State Farm).

The premium she quoted was almost $1000 per year less than I have been paying.

She explained some options I had her make a few changes, and that happened quickly. I called a few times with questions and was anlways able to reach her or she got back to me right away. We decided to purchase both our auto and homeowners coverage through her agency and Sydney.

Since I’ve been with State Farm JP Merk (and Sydney) I have purchased and sold 2 vehicles, and made a couple changes to coverage. Each time Sydney was easy to reach made the change right away and sent confirmation with new insurance cards within minutes. She was just as easy to reach and enjoyable to deal with as a customer than she was when I was interested in purchasing a policy.

This week I received notice from aLife insurance policy I had through a different agency, that my premiums were going to increase significantly - Almost double..

I called Sydney and asked if she had Life insurance through State Farm and her agency.. A few minutes later I received a quote for a 10 year policy with premiums that were almost half The price I had just received from a company I’ve been with for many years. After giving her the OK, Sydney helped me complete the application and everything was done and only a few minutes..

I appreciate having insurance through a reputable company like State Farm. I appreciate they’ve saved me quite a bit of money in premiums (It’s worth noting my premiums did not go up when my policy renewed!).

But when I appreciate most of all, is having an agency I can deal with (JP Merk) and not just an 800 number. And especially Sydney. Every time I’ve needed to make a change, or had a question she either took my call right away or got back to me quickly. I feel fortunate to have found her!

If you’re thinking about making a change in your insurance, I highly recommend giving Sydney a call."

"Calling State Farm to get car insurance was one of the best things that I could’ve done to have coverage. My vehicle and myself is covered in a lot of ways to where I don’t have to worry about anything. I was very satisfied with the Amount that I had to pay, which wasn’t a lot at all. Sydney helped me out and she was very nice to me. I truly appreciate her work and I will recommend anyone to come to her and State Farm with their services. "I sent an email to Mr. Merk at State Farm about my car policy with only 2 questions since my rate went up. I never got a reply back in a week, so I called the office and asked for Sydney, who I spoke with when I got my policies. Unfortunately I was told that she only deals with "sales", so I could not talk to her. I did eventually reach her by email only because I saved her original emails to me with my policies. Weeks later, I still have never received a reply from Mr. Merk. Mr. Merk lost me as a customer due to his lack of communication."

"When I first signed up for State Farm Insurance, I was excited, I felt motivated, it was my first time getting Auto Insurance and I certainly felt I was getting quality customer service. And then, as soon as I became the customer, had questions about the bill, starting needed to make changes had questions about my bill, and of course I don't know the insurance jargon and it can be a bit overwhelming, the calls were less and even more less of the quality of how I first received my initial signing up and then, became dust in he wind. It was a lot of " I don't know, it could be this or that, not sure why" For example, my insurance was going up " I spoke with Olga this morning who is friendly, I give her that" and I am sure she has been there for a long time, but when I spoke to her this morning, about why did my insurance go up because of removing a driver from my policy, and yeah, I did mention something personal saying how "I removed the driver because I left an abusive relationship and now I gotta pay for it?" and her reply and I'm quoting her because it really hurt me" Well, insurances don't care about that when they factor in rates" and yeah, I get that, but that really did hurt me, she didn't have to say it like that, that's not customer service, that was cold. And when I asked her what other factors that increased my rates, she kept saying I don't know, could be this or that, they don't tell us anything. So what are their jobs there? To just sign people up and leave us until we need to adjust a bill and that's it? This is why insurances are so confusing to regular customers like myself, that conversation with Olga is the reason why I hung up and decided to switch insurances, I'm sure she is a sweet lady and many people have a positive experience with her, but she really did upset me enough to where she has lost me as a customer and now, I decided to switch insurances and that is exactly what I did, will be switching June 3rd. Sorry, Olga, you really disappointed me and caused me to switch insurances. I sure hope you read a book or two on empathy!"

"After trying to find a different insurance provider, my wife was contacted by State Farm. I say this with absolute conviction: th agent was OUTSTANDING. She literally spent time with me on the phone ensuring I understood each policy for our cars and our house. I just can’t say enough positive things about the experience I had. Then within just a few weeks, I received a follow up call. Again, I was so impressed by their professionalism and knowledge! What a GREAT team you have!!!!"

"When a personal auto quote came in the mail from STATE FARM, I almost threw it out like I always do! But I took a double take, and saw what our monthly premium would be and I was skeptical. I had to call. Sydney Clapp was the Account Representative. She was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly! She worked patiently with me and my husband and told us the quote was a REAL number.
